Our Love
Story
Payton and Sierra met in May 2016 through mutual friends. Payton's cousin was friends with Sierra's roommate, and that connection led to them meeting at Sierra's on campus apartment while she was attending the University of Central Missouri. They spent the entire evening getting to know each other, even though Payton had to wake up early the next morning for Air Force Reserve drill.
As their relationship grew, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. After graduating from the University of Central Missouri, Sierra followed her passion for education and became a teacher while Payton continued serving in the Air Force Reserve. On September 25, 2018, they welcomed their son, Pierce, into the world. He has been one of the greatest blessings in their lives and has brought endless joy to their family.

Over the years, they have experienced many of life's biggest moments together. They have celebrated milestones, overcome challenges, and supported one another through multiple military deployments. Every experience has strengthened their relationship and reinforced the commitment they share.

Today, Payton and Sierra are excited to begin this new chapter as husband and wife. They are incredibly grateful for the love and support of their family and friends and cannot wait to celebrate this special day with the people who have been part of their journey.
Getting There
By Car
Our ceremony will be held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with the reception immediately following at the Bishop Hogan Center, which is connected to the cathedral. Guests can park onsite and enjoy the entire celebration without needing to drive between venues.
By Flight
For guests traveling from out of town, we recommend flying into Kansas City International Airport (MCI). The airport is approximately 25 to 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City and is easily accessible by rental car or rideshare.
Explore Kansas City
One of the things we love most about our venue is that everything is in one place. After the ceremony, guests can simply walk next door to the Bishop Hogan Center for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.

If you're spending the weekend in downtown Kansas City, we also recommend taking advantage of the KC Streetcar. It's completely free and offers an easy way to explore restaurants, coffee shops, entertainment, and many of the city's most popular attractions without worrying about parking.
Where to Stay
We recommend staying at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, where we will have a room block available for our guests. The hotel is just minutes from the cathedral and Bishop Hogan Center, making it a convenient place to stay while enjoying everything downtown Kansas City has to offer.
